dfontec7g7a Store This sale is for a vintage SINGER slant bed free arm sewing machine model ATHENA 2000. This is the start of my Christmas Specials for sewing lovers to get a nice older sewing machine at a low price for the holidays. I have a few older Singers, Necchi and others with most of the acc. they came with I will be listing. This machine has most of the main feet, accessories, carry case as shown plus I will provide scissors and screwdriver and a manual from my Futura II etc. The machine is in very nice cosmetic condition and sews ok but I have not lubricated it. It doesn\'t require lube except by service center so it may need that soon.This machine has a electronic fancy stitch selector push button so easy to set up and go from one stitch to another. This machine is like the Futura model except it has the built in fancy stitch cylces and doesn\'t require external cams. The one stitch of the animal is the fanciest and unusual. One drawback is the stitches are non adjustable so you can\'t vary the stitch like on older machine by changing the stitch length or width. This machine is all original not a worn out machine that was rebuilt or refurbished. This machine is smooth running and quiet. It has many automatic features for the bobbin, close up needle, light close to needle etc. The machine was tested and made mostly good stitches as shown in the photos. l With the built in motor no belts to change, slip or adjust..It will stitch one stitch at a time like using the hand crank.
