This is a big bird and it is in good vintage condition. Legend has it that if youwanted to fly somewhere you handcrafted a bird as asymbol of flight. This is missing 1 eye and there are some breaking of the weave here and there. But, it is very much together. Not falling apart at all. These are woven around gourds and this one has both the woven tree fiber and the knottedbilum string. It is approx 24 1/2"T x 19 1/2"W claw to claw and 18"D.
