SCHWINN STING-RAY KRATE BIKE HURET BICYCLE SPEEDOMETER For Sale -

This is adecent used, Huret-made Schwinn Sting-Ray speedometer, the perfect finishing touch for your Sting-Ray or Krate. It's had a complete cleaning and rebuild and is in full working order, freshly lubricated, polished, waxed and reassembled, turning freely and ready to go.

The speedometer head is 2 3/8" wide, 2¼" high and 1 5/8" deep. It has a polished chrome rim, glass face, and chrome housing, with white numbers on a black dial, and light orange pointer coloring.The finish is not perfect: It shows uniform speckling on all sides (see photos 3, 4 & 5), but all chrome has been polished to restore the shine, and then waxed to keep it that way. The carriage screw head was very discolored from age, and has been touched up with silver. There is no accumulated mileage; it's just passing 0000.1.
