This sale is foran RWYoung 4ChimeAir Whistle

RW Young Signal Hill California 4 chimeair whistle. Each whistle is 1\" in diameter with lengths of: 5\", 6 1/2\", 7 3/4\" and 9 5/8\".Solid brass construction weighing 8#with a built in 3 bolt mount. Operates from a 1/2\" pipe thread supply. I have included a hand operated1/2\" ball valve.This whistlecan alsobeblownfrom your shops air line.

This air horn / whistle was designed to be used on commercial trucks. I testedit at 140 PSI andfound that the whistlewill overblow if the ballvalve iswide open. Open the valve 1/4 and itblows correctly even at 140 PSI.It will actually work correctly with the valve wide open 30 PSI to80 PSI.

Idisassembled the entire whistle, cleaned, andpolished.This whistle is solid brass and isnot plated. There is no coating on the surface of this whistle.

The pipe flange was usedwhile taking the pictures andis not a part of this sale.

I will ship USPS insuredinalargebox. The larger box allows for properly packing the whistle.The shipping cost shown includes the insurance. It will be very well packed.
