Rockwell Delta Model 18 Planer For Sale -

This 18\" Delta Model 18 Planer would be a great candidate for refurbishment. It spent a few years in an old chicken barn of a friend and has spent the last 10 inside our warehouse. I had started a restoration 10 years ago and added two new motors before other projects got in the way and I never got back to it. Now, the warehouse space is needed and I sadly need to part with this planer (and it\'s jointer cousin) This planer has been re-motored for home use (single phase 220V) with a new 5HP Dayton motor for the cutterhead, and a 1/2HP feed motor. I am selling both original 3PH motors with the planer as well. If you are a home woodworker you should know that these industrial planers are game-changers. None of the small and portable planers can chew through wood as fast or as quietly as these case iron beasts. They run great, look cool in the shop and anyone who visits your shop will be impressed. The down side is that they aren\'t easy to move. This planer is in our warehouse with a loading dock and a forklift. I will be more than happy to help you load the planer. I will not ship it but if you want to arrange for a shipping company to pick it up I will be more than happy to help. It is on a good solid pallet. Planers usually travel pretty well.
