RM STATION 550 linear amp For Sale -

Used RM Station 550 linear amplifier, Tested on dummy load and has output as shown in photos your meter may vary in readings as compared to mine. The power level has 6 settings. It has been modded for better side band audio unlike some of the other class c operating ones on that sound like cr4p.The power supply output works and shows 13.56 volts at 3 amps. I guess that is for running an antenna tuner, lighted or power swr meter, not enough to run a radio if you over power it and it cooks i warned you. It runs on 120volts ac. I will include a cd with schematic and user manual.I have tested it on am at 10 watts input and SSB at 20 watts input which is the max but I would not recommend running at max input for very long. You must use an antenna rated at 1000 watts or more, if you use one rated for 500 watts and it melts enjoy the molten art work it leaves behind. All amplifiers have a duty cycle you can not just key down and talk for 5 minutes straight and expect it to last it needs a break every so often more so on higher power settings, normal conversation is fine. If you dump 50 watts input into thinking you will get more out of it and it and it explodes and flies off your desk and lands in the kitchen sink then you should of bought a fidget spinner instead.Has few scratches in the meter cover and a few in case as shown in photos may have other nicks that the camera missed, but not to bad of condition IMO. Has new fans and fan covers shown in bottom case photo.It is listed as parts or repair due to \'s ridiculous return rules on items such as this and it may or may not work as factory describes it or have a scratch or an issue that is unknown to me.This weighs 20 pounds not including any packing so i will make shipping a set higher amount but will refund any extra.
