A rare and lovely Nursery plate made c1845 of the very young Princess Victoria \"Vicky\" The Princess Royal---eldest daughter/child of Queen Victoria. She later became Empress of Germany and Queen of Prussia. The plate is known as \"Royal Favourites\" and says this on the plate. It has the young Princess sitting with her dogs in the garden. Has a lovely border of embossed/raised letters of the Alphabet which was very popular design at the time. The plate is approx 7.25 inches in diameter. Has a small old restored chip on the rim by the letter \"I\" and you can see on photo the colouring is slightly different.
