Being offered on this sale is massive vase made by Rosenthal China, Selb, Bavaria, Germany. It is of famous now German Op-Art line. Famous artist Michael Boehm (b. 1944) designed this vase. He is one of the best-known glass designers in Germany. Boehm has been working for Rosenthal since 1966. He built the Rosenthal glass studio in 1966 and created significant glass art. He was awarded numerous rewards for this work. He designed also in porcelain. Vase on this sale is called ‘Debüt’. It has sharp oval shape standing on support. It is fully glazed. Many Rosenthal modern art artists decorated on this shape. This vase is original all white. Looks splendid. This is Rosenthal form 4040. Vase is marked on the backside with standard Rosenthal Studio-Linie, Germany mark in green. Artist signature is written on the backside. Other marking is form number 4040/28 incised on the backside.

Vase measures about 6 ¾” x 2” and stands 11 ¼” tall. Condition is immaculate with no cracks or chips found. This porcelain is thick and heavy. Please take a look at the pictures in our viewer to find out more about this item.
