\"ELEMENTS OF DRAWING DOGS\"by Arthur Wardle, afirst edition circa 1940, this is a very rare complete portfolio printed in Switzerland which contains 12 large black & white illustrations of different breeds of dogs by Arthur Wardle, next to the main illustration on each sheet are a couple of drawings intended as a guide for other artists showing them how to draw that particular breed, contained in its original very fragile paper portfolio cover which is worn at edges and spine, overall size approx 13\" x 10\", the 12 large plates include the Mastiff, Bloodhound, Alsatian, Scottish Terrier, Borzoi, Irish Setter, Fox Terrier, Gordon Setter, Dachshund, Saint Bernard, Bulldog and Terriers.
