Palomar 300 A 10 meter amp For Sale -

This Palomar 300Ais a tube-type amplifier covering 40 / 20 / 15 / 10 meters on AM /FM / SSB modes. It uses 6x 6LD6s tubes (included) and has a 3dB gain pre-amp. The amplifier uses an outboard power supply which is included.

The unit is ingood condition overall showing minorwear. The biggest issue is that it does dissipate a lot of heat so i used three fans (will include if you need ) drawing out the heat ffrom the top and install one fan in the outboard power supply which i failed to photo but if any one needs a photo just email me

I am not a tech but all i know is that :I only used it on the 10 meter setting and never dead key tubes over 100 watts and the full output depends on your driver or how you over coupled it and this over-couple is a must and its in the manual i think . Its wired now for 110vac and the outboard power supply takes care of internal power

Must say my shipping is hi but yesterday i shipped out my Sonar FS 2340(the driver for this amp) double boxed priority shipment USPS and i lost 22 dollars so only to lower 48 and double boxed shipping will be 60 dollars priority with popcorn all over even inside the amp but tubes will be boxed inside their own box.

No returns due to some people like to swap parts and return but will not be DOA
