Up for saleis a nice, rare, charming, Singer SEWHANDY Model20 toy sewing machine. It\'s a rarer version of SEWHANDY because it\'s stamped \"MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN\" above the Singer emblem and it has a solid metal flat hand-wheel rather than the more typical spiral hand-wheel seen on most SEWHANDY\'S. A limited number of machines with the flat hand-wheel were manufactured and a limited number of machines were made in GREAT BRITAIN.The machine is in good condition. Theglossy tan paint finish is good/nice and the metalparts shine. It has a few small spots of wear.The hand-wheel turns and the needle part moves up and down. It has a needle. It has all of it\'s parts.Itcomes witha copy of the Sewhandy instruction book and the original SIMANCO table clamp. It includes the original box. The box has some wear and tape in spots. The paper graphics are nice for display.
The machine is listed in Glenda Thomas\' ToySewing Machine Reference GuideBook I, copyright, 1995.

She appraised the machine at up to $150. The machines in Thomas\' books have increased in value since publication.
