This isa tortilla warmer from Tzintzuntzan, Mexico. It is hand embroidered with a scene in bright colors.

It is a natural linen color with a lace border and an embroidered square in the middle. The piece measures 9 3/4\" across, not including the lace. The back is open, forming a pouch to slip the warm tortillas in to keep them warm.

This design features a scene of children playing with flowers and butterflies.
