This is for a touching delightful retired Lladro figure of a girl with kittens entitled \'Friday\'s Child\' (Nina Viernes). (Friday\'s child is \'loving and giving\'). This charming Lladro figurine stands approximately 5 ½ inches tall and is about 3 inches wide. It is decorated with the traditional pastel colors of Lladro and depicts a young girl in winter hat and clothes holding a bundle of kittens as mother cat is looking on.The figure was designed by Juan Huerta in 1992 and retired by 1997. It comes from the \'Days of the Week\' series of 14 figures (7 boys & 7 girls). Of all these pieces it is the hardest to find and consequently has the highest catalogue value.
The figure is fully backstamped for 1st quality and is in perfect condition with no damage nor restoration.The figurine is marked on the bottom Lladro, Hand made in Spain, Daisa, 1992, 6020, Nina Viernes, Friday\'s Child.comes in its original Lladro box. This charming Lladro come in its original box, but with no inserts. Will be very carefully packaged and insured for a safe arrival to its new home.Related items
