For sale is live freshwater Planktonic crustaceans - Russian Red daphnia, aka water flea or waterflea. I have breed a mutant of white daphnia (actually transparent). They have been this white color for a couple months now. They might have lost the pigment. Their color may change depends on food they feed on. I am not sure if the color will revert back to red. But it\'s fun to play with it. Supply limited.

As you can see in the picture, they feed on algae (the green stuff in their intestine). Small fish, such as guppy fishlikes to feed on daphnia. So you are converting green water, i.e.algae problem into fish food while improving water quality. You can also just keep them as pet & watch them swim just like a school of fish.You will receive a culture of individuals size varies around 3mm to 4mm.
Shipping detail:
I\'ll ship from Monday to Wednesday to avoid the package stay in post office during weekend. Cut off time is Tuesday night for the shipment within the same week. Otherwise, will be shipped following Monday. They will be shipped with a little bit of green algae water in plastic recycled food gradebottle to ensure they are not starved during shipping as well as sufficientoxygen to breath. When you receive the item, they may have consume the algae and the water becomes clear.Please watch your weather and make sure your daily temperature is between 30-90°F before ordering.
Counting number:It\'s impossible to count the numberPRECISELY since they are so tiny and swims rapidly. I take picture, and use particle counting software. Guarantee you will receive farmore than your order because I always throw in more plus they reproduce fast. If you see some dead individuals, it\'s because their rapid and short life cycle (7-30 days depends on temperature). So they die from natural cause. Some looks dead are actually their molted shells. If you really want tocount them again, please keep the water still and collect the suspended indivuals to count.
In case of DOA, please take video and request for one-timefree replacement.

Feed them with green algae water. If yourgreen water has been improved anddon\'t have enough algae to feed them, you can feed them with boiledegg york instead.
