LARGE CHANCAY PERU PRECOLUMBIAN POTTERY CANTEEN ARTIFACT:

This is a pre-Columbian pottery canteen, Chancay culture, from ancient Peru...Guaranteed. It is 12\" top to bottom by about 10\" wide. Other than a little chipping around the rim, it is in good condition. There is a V shaped painted design on both sides just below the neck. The last pic in my listing shows another Chancay canteen, from a collection in New Zealand, with a design so similar as could have been painted by the same hand. The design on mine is a lot fainter, but remarkable in its similarity. Mine is from an estate in the Seattle area. Email questions.
