Kanamycin Flake is an excellent choice for medicating both freshwater and saltwater species.

Highly effective against gram negative bacteria, such as septicemia, popeye, fin & tail rot, dropsy, kidney disease as well as resistant tuberculosis. It is also referred to as a super drug when combined with Nitrofurazone and Metronidazole as the synergistic properties between these medications are even more effective than when treating with just a single drug. Treatment: Feed 1-2 times a day for a total of 10 days. Can be stopped after 5 days if no improvement is noticed.

Treating Tuberculosis: Continue to a minimum of 30 days. Also, do a 25% water change a couple times each week minimum to ensure water quality is maintained during this long term treatment plan.
