[ THE hFE Matching Number is written on the top cap of most transistors.
!!! The hFE Number Value Shown In The Images DO NOT Reflect the Number Value that will be on the transistors you receive. !!! ]

!!! HG ONLY Sends Me The HIGHEST hFE Value Transistors To DistributeOne May Ask:
\"OK OK OK, But What the Heck is this hFE Value I keep hearing about refered to transistors or as some of us call the, pills?\"

The hFE aka Beta of a transistor is the current gain or amplification factor of a transistor. In other words it is the amplification factor of base current in relation to collector current.

A Simple Example is this, Lets Say your Radio Signal is a number of 1 Coming from your favorite radio. If the Transistor has a hFE Value of 50 then your small signal of 1 turns into a 50. 50 X 1 = 50.

So to simplify everything, if you match transistors to the same hFE or Beta Value then the Transistors will be working on the same Amplification Factor, therefore, there will be no fighting amongst each other causing more heat and or stress on other components or the transistors them selves.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS My Personal Review, Thomas - Georgia:
I personally was very skeptical of these transistors at first due to all of the fake transistors floating around. There are also other companies claiming to have remade the infamous 2879 transistor that many of us love and trust, only to be let down by low output and/or dependability. So I took things slow with the HG2879. For over 8 months of testing, hardcore communication, directly with the head of the company and there was no doubt about it, I became very impressed. I was so impressed that I made arrangements to become a Distributor here in the USA. I know this will take more time out of my everyday life but I am happy to be a part of something many of us have been needing badly which was a suitable replacement for the discontinued Toshiba 2sc2879 and here it is! I present you with the HG (HuaGao) 2sc2879. THE BEST REPLACEMENT OUT OF CHINA YET!!!Todd from South East LA:
I bought 2 HG2879s to replace my blown transistors in my 2 pill kicker. This has been 4 months ago and it is still working fine.Mr. Gerald from TN:
I own homebrew 4 transistor amp that had motorolas in it. With Gatekeepers help I replaced them with 4 HG2290 Transistors and it worked out great! It has been 1 month now and no blown transistors...yaaaaay!Tommy - LA
I had purchased a 6 pill box that came with 6 pp100s from another vendor that did not last 30 minutes, I spoke to gatekeeper, who I trusted entirely. He said to try hg 2879s, since toshibas wasnt in my budget at the time. I purchased 6 hgs from him. They are great for what we do. They are amazing and great for the price. My son has been running the heck out of this box now for 3 weeks and hammering on it hard and it is holding up fine.Richard From The Garden State:
I am a local Ham Operator out here and I own a Kenwood TS-570D and the person who owned it before me had salvaged the Toshibas 2879s which are used for finals in this paticular radio. I am a disabled vet and do not have a lot of cash on hand so i decided to try out these HG\'s i have been hearing about. I installed them my self and I have no problem getting actually 145w out of this radio which amazed me being only a 100w radio. I have made contacts on 40m, 20m, and a few on 10m nets we have aroud here. I did this install around 2 months ago and everything is still fine. I am a happy camper and saved my self some money. Can\'t beat that!
More reviews to come......if you have a review of these transistors please contact me and give me your name and state and I would love to add your review to this description.
