This strikingly detailed macaw was carved from a single piece of hot pink elbaite tourmaline. It features a green tourmaline beak and comb along with a matched pair of brilliant diamond eyes. The base is made from frosted rock crystal quartz, and the macaw may be easily removed from the base if desired but IS NOT recommended. This piece was acquired years ago from an estate in California, and it was originally carved during the 1970\'s in Idar-Oberstein, Germany.
