ITEM DESCRIPTION

Very nice Hallicrafters SX-100 Mark 2A HAM tube radio receiver, a speaker and short wire antenna were connected, the radio powered on and reception was fair receiving several AM broadcasts and a few shortwave broadcasts, squeaks & squeals were heard at many points tuning up and down the dial depending on the control settings, more than I would normally receive, the radio will most likely need service/repairs due to age, the radio appears clean inside and out. The radio appears to have been very well cared for, the metal case shows very nice, few mostly minor marks were noticed with close inspection, the front panel, dials and glass lens\' all look great, there are some scratch marks below the knobs on the left and a little minor wear along the bottom edge and around the AM/CW-SSB switch, all knobs look good, all controls and the meter appear to function, the radio measures 18 1/2\" by 9 5/8\" by 8 7/8\" high, see pics and ask questions, mouse over the large picture for the zoom feature or click on the large picture to super size it.
