Hallicrafters S-120 Shortwave / Broadcast Band Receiver(Serial# 120004543156) - Here is a working, clean S-120. This unit has new capacitors and is very lively (SEE PHOTOS). The front panel and cabinet are very nice (SEE PHOTOS). The dial-strings, feet and knobs are very good (SEE PHOTOS). The original stickers with serial number and tube placement are there and in good shape (SEE PHOTOS). I will include a copy of the user/service manual as well as, a hard copy of the dial-stringing chart for future reference (SEE PHOTOS).NOTE: This is an \'AC-DC\' tube-type device. It is strongly advised that such devices be used in conjunction with an isolation transformer for maximum safety. Further, since potentially dangerous voltages are present on the chassis and internal components it is advised that the services of a qualified electronics technician be utilized when making repairs and/or adjustments.
With the exception of the capacitors the components in this radio are of undetermined age, but could be over 50-years old. I cannot guarantee the longevity of the tubes, bulbs or any other components. I can only say that the unit works and that the buyer is on his own for future adjustments and maintenance.
