Up for sale is an outstanding Hafler XL-280 2 Channel Power Amplifier in excellent condition. This amp is rated conservatively at 115 watts per channel @ 8 ohms (on my bench it topped out at 145 watts per channel @ 8 ohms. It is has a very warm tube-like sound. Can you hear the difference between Hafler XL-280 and common, mass market components? Absolutely. Like jazz? Listen to the timbre of a sax. If you prefer classical, you\'ll hear the \"truth of timber.\" Rock will deliver more bass punch, depth and snap with no loss of openness or detail. With any style of music or soundtrack, the harmonics are just right. This is accomplished by having fewer parts and shorter signal paths. Over the years I have had many high end amplifiers come through here and this is one of my favorites. The XL-280 is full of richness and detail. I am sure you will absolutely love it. I thoroughly benched it out just to make sure everything was aluminum faceplate
