Great beginner coral; easy to care for and grows prolific. You are paying for a frag plug that is 3/4\" in diameter and has a frag of coral attached.
This is a strain of green star polyps (GSP) that are neon green and have relatively long polyps; often 3/4\" to 1\" long. They sway back and forth like a carpet of grass, and are mesmerizing! These are many of my visitors\' favorite coral.
GSP are a great hiding place for many benign species of marine critters such as: mysis shrimp, amphipods, copepods, bristleworms, and more.
Tip: place on an \'island\' type piece of live rock. This coral grows fast, and could take over your main live rock aquascaping. If placed on an \'island\' this can easily be trimmed when it gets close to your main aquascaping.
Although my frag tanks are pest-free, it is always recommended to give your frag a coral dip prior to placing in your tank. These frags are kept in water with a specific gravity of 1.025 or 1.026. The salt is Red Sea\'s Coral Sea Pro, so your coral will be healthy and very colorful.
