Up for BUY IT NOW GETS FREE LOWER 48 USA SHIPPING !Vintage approx. later 1960s / early 70s Martin Imperialtrumpet by Wurlitzer. Pleasesee serial number which is stamped on the back of the 3rd valve casing on the pic #71xxxx RANGE ! This is MEDIUM BORE .453\" instrument. This is very similar sounding horn to Martin Committee model at a much lower price. I believe it is and advertise it as an Intermediate line of Martin but some people advertise it as pro line possibly due to that it`s playing like a pro horn. If you are looking for a niceplaying Martin trumpet and would like to save $$$ over buyinga Committee than you will be really happy with this horn. This instrument in in very good overall condition condition with few dings around easy to repair but those don`t affect playing at all. PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS REGARDING CONDITION IN THE SECTION ABOVE PROVIDED BY TO INCLUDE IMPERFECTIONS/CONDITION DETAILS ! Pics showvery good conditionof this trumpet.All slides pull and valves are very fast . Plating on valves is very good and compression as well ( see pic ) . All felts and corks in valves are in good shape and both water key pads are new just replaced. Leadpipe has no external corrosion/ red rot visible at all. PRO PLAY TESTED ! DON`T MISS.

You arebuyingtrumpet as well as all other things you see on those pics like silver mouthpiece marked Holton COLLEGIATE with wear on the shank from age and slight ding on the rim but fully playable. Also very little valve oil to start with in a bottle is included, cleaning snake and lyre ( music stand ). Case is original with Martin Emblem near handle, one side belt is coming off but still holding other side is missing seen on photos as horn lays on the case exterior. Latches are fine and handle as well.

This isan excellent affordable trumpet great for jazz as well as any other music style or player in any age/level. Trumpetwas made during times when quality was more important than quantity.

I`m sure that this horn will tell you lots of interesting musical stories when you start playing it same asKenny DorhamMartin did. ( Kenny Dorhamplayed MartinCommittee but also played MartinImperial on few recordings). Youcan get asimilar sounding to Martin Committee trumpet at a much lower price !
