This is a fine and large example with the exposed blade section exceeding 16cm in length and an overall length of 27.5cm. Originating from Manus Island in the Admiralty Archipelago the dagger was collected in the 1950\'s and consists of an obsidian blade encased in aParinarium gum handgrip decorated with earth pigments.
