• During the process, every single part of the machine was studied and then restore, replace or just cleaned.• Rusted metal parts like brake, lid lock and escutcheon were replaced with new ones made by us, but now in bronze to assure many more years of nice shape and good use.• The case was sanded and refinished with the necessary coats of shellac.• The back bracket was sanded, painted and have new bearingsballs for an easy move of the arm and now looks great with our water slide decal applied.• Motor was cleaned and the spring serviced.• All visible nickel plated screws were replaced with new old stock with the same shape as the originals.• The Smooth tiger oak wood horn is one of our recognized reproductions that perfectly match the machine.• The Victor plate was repainted and shows some level of wear.• The platter was nickel plated and shows some up an down movement when is working but not affect the performance of the sound and motor.• The speed regulator retains the original finish.• The reproducer was complete redone even the small screws were fixed and nickel plated and thetension springs were torch oil bluing.• The lid is slightly bend if you look it horizontally, also, it may have a missing wood bar that goes inside near the motor.Extensive work on this machine make it one of the best samples of a Victor 1 phonograph.Only a professional restoration will have results like the once you see in these photos.We know how to do it.I will be glad to answer any question.
