This is a two band AM radio, band selection by moving the two pin header link.The radio fits a standard matchbox ( not supplied).frequency range. 1-3.5MHZ . This has beenchosenas the optimum performance for this radio. Other inductors can besubstitutedor see my other crystal radios for extended coverage. Quality selected diode ensures maximumperformance.Ideal schools or club project. the kit includes everything you need to build a working radio - 5 metre aerial, earth connections and earpiece. Quality circuit board.You will need a small screwdriver ( not supplied) to turn the on board tuning capacitor.In most cases just an earth is required to receive signals.
