Up for sale is a vintage Buescher 205 Aristocrat True Tone trumpet in Bb.

The condition on this vintage horn is just great. All valves and slides are in clean, working order. No signs of red rot. No major dings or dents. Just your typical signs of wear from vintage instruments.

This trumpet was taken down to raw brass by its previous owner, and it was done quite well. When polished, this horn looks like it has a brushed gold finish.

One other condition aspect that needs to be addressed is the bottom cap on valve 1. As you can see in the pictures, it is not original. It does fit and it does work, but obviously its not a match.

This Buescher is a very fun horn to play. I find that it\'s playing characteristic tend to be on the \"darker side\". It\'s sound is very thick and rich. Basically, it would be a perfect horn for a small jazz combo or a solo jazz performer.

This trumpet is ready to play. Perfect for a collector, somebody looking for a great jazz horn for those gigs you don\'t want your main horn at, or somebody just looking to get a nice vintage trumpet. The listing includes the Buescher trumpet and what looks to be an original case (?).
