Here is a nice antique ogee mirror, made of mahogany and mahogany veneers. I found this in Virgina, and it came from an estate there. It measures 18 x 24 1/4 ins. in total, and the inner rabbet insert size is 11 x 17 1/4 ins. approx.The mirror is original, looks ot have an old copper silvering on back. That has chipped/scraped off in spots over time. The wood backing is missing, but a new replacement one could easily be made if you like. It is in fair as is condition, with surface scrapes, veneer trying to spli, and miter corner separations. All common with old frames, especially ones this old. I would date this to the 1850-60s time period.Perfect for Victorian, Federal,Americana, and Traditional decors.
