All-Steel 8x12 Chicken Tractor Super Duty complete w/ Waterer, Feeder & Nestbox For Sale -

This used tractor is in excellent condition, less than 6 months old.  

It is an 8\'x12\' Hoop house covered in super-strong expanded metal ends and galvalume steel roofing.  We used expanded metal to keep all predators out.  Chickenwire is really only good for keeping chickens in and doesn\'t help at all in keeping predators out.  Hardware cloth is better but is still vulnerable to determined raccoons.  We have found expanded metal to be the best.  The steel roofing completes the super-duty protection for your flock.

It stands about 6\' tall, so is very comfortable to enter to care for the chickens.  It has a 7-hole nestbox, chicken door, efficient no-spill hanging bucket feeder we built, 5-gallon Ez-fill waterer, bin for providing dust baths, front hooks for pulling, two 8\' roosts, and a locking main door with inside hook closure.  

While technically a tractor because it has no floor and can be pulled to a new location, it is heavy.  We have always used either 2 furniture dollies, a riding lawn mower or pickup truck to move it.  You won\'t want to move it daily, but weekly is quite doable.

If you have the chickens locked up, you could keep approximately 10-15 hens.  If you let them out through the chicken door to free range during the day, you could easily fit up to 30-35 hens.
