This is a
BEAUTIFUL
ANTIQUE
ART DECO
DESK TOP
PEN STAND
WITH TWIN PEN RESTS
and
A FINE
COLD PAINTED SPELTER
HUNTING DOG / GUN DOG
CENTERPIECE.
In my estimation it dates from around the early 20th Century, circa 1920s-1930s, but please make up your own mind about this.
The stand measures approx 7 1/2 inches (190mm) wide by 4 1/2 inches (115mm) deep, and is made from onyx with chrome decoration, hard plastic pen holders, and a cold painted, spelter hunting dog in the center.
It is in good antique, condition with light wear consistent with its age, but no major damage, or repairs.
The hinged pen stands both move as they should, and there are no cracks or chips to the plastic.
This is a beautiful, stylish piece.
It would still be fine to use, and would make a beautiful display object, and be a great addition to any collection.
