This kit is for passive electric guitars. Many times when you turn the volume down using your guitar’s volume pot, a lot of the high frequency is lost. This simple “fix” will help your guitar sound the same no matter what setting your volume control is at. By placing a small capacitor between the input and output of the volume control, you allow the high frequencies to bleed through to the output. The resistor smoothes out the pot’s taper and the cap lets the highs escape the pot’s resistance when you turn down the volume pot.

This kit has detailed, easy to understand directions for installation, with pictures and diagrams.

The capacitors and resistorscan bepre-solderedin parallel. This will save you time and effort. Or I can send them as separate components and you can choose how to install them. Some people like them in series or the capacitor alone. It\'s your choice.

You get two new old stock .001ufSprague ceramic capacitors and two 150k carbon film resistors. This kit can be used with humbuckers or single coil setups. Some manufacturers of pickupshave suggested using from .001uf / 1000pf to .0025uf / 2500pf caps for the treble bleed circuit. Others have suggested from a 220pf to a 750pf. Only you know what you want your guitar to sound like.

All components are brand new old stock. This is an easy mod. All you need is a soldering iron and access to the back of your volume control pot.
