This is something unusual. This is a silk jacket and skirt for a Buddhist monk.It was bought at a dealers only antiques sale in Japan. It came in its original packing material (Photo # 9 at the left side in the photo) with the owners name, the temple and the date (1928 or Showa 3) The green silk has subtlegreen embroidered dragons covering the jacket and skirt. There are some stains and fading in places. Please look closely at the photos
The shoulders and the sleeves are 22 inches wide (56 cm) they\'re 29 inches long (74 cm)The skirt is a \"One size fits all\" wrap around and is 47 inches wide and 31 inches long.
