Indian almond leaves have been widely used by Asian breeders of tropical fish (Angel fish, Arowanas, Cardinals, Corydoras, Discus, Betta etc) to stimulate breeding and promote health and vitality in tropical fish. They love it! We have response from customer that her betta is making bubble nest immediately after she placed the first leaf into her tank. Shrimps like to feed on the nutricious leaf after it softens in water. You can add the leaf directly into the tank or may be boiled and the extract to be added into the tank

BENEFITS

• Simulate black water condition which is the natural environment for the tropical fish and shrimps.
• Cure sick fish of bacterial infections and to help speed up healing of damaged fins or body injuries. However it is not a magic \"cure-all\", especially when dealing with diseases likedropsy, velvet etc. think of it as more of a preventative medicine.

DOSAGE

• Recommend to use 2-3 leaves size 6\" or 15 cm. per 50 L of water suits or medium size fish tank.If your leaf is smaller or bigger, you need to adjust the figures accordingly.

• Dosages below are based on 18-20 cm (6-8 inch) leaves.

• Using 2 leaves per 50 L (13 gallons) of water is recommended but be prepared to adjust the dosage to suit your particular fish.

• Some Betta keepers routinely use to 2 leaves per 15 L (4 gallons) ofwater intheir everyday tanks.

• Betta breeders normally use 1 leaf per 20 L (5 gallons) of water in breeding tanks.

• In fry rearing tanks, using 1 leaf per 40 L (10 gallons) of water is recommended.

• Recommended for all fresh water fishes kept in small containers without filters, specially during transportation.

• Discard the leaf after 1 week and replace with a new leaf.

We have 2 tips to use Catappa Leaves for your shrimp

1. For shrimp owners that like water to be yellow or light brown color ;

Rinse under clean water, and then add to tank , after some time the water will turn a slight brownish , tannish color

2. For shrimp owners that do not like water become yellow or light brown colour ;

Please boil them 30-60 minutes, After that put them in your shrimp/fish tank, They will not make water become yellowor brown colour, and they will sink to the bottom so fast, Shrimp can eat them easily.Removing the leaves after the shrimp come and feed on the leaves is not necessary as later the leafwill rot and provide a good grazing grounds for the shrimps where they will find micro nutrients in it.
