.223/5.56 Reusable Jam Nut for muzzle brakes or other barrel accessories with a 1/2 x 28 thread.CNC Precision Machined fromUS madesteelby skilled machinist in the USA! All threads are checked with calibrated gages to insure a top quality part. The outside dia. is 7/8\" thickness is .200\" with 3/4 wrench flats. All surfaces are smooth and deburred.They are plated with a durable black oxide finish that will match your rifle well.This Jam Nut is used in place of crush washers or shim kits to properly align muzzle devices such as muzzle brakes and flash hiders that need to be timed.
The Jam Nut is threaded onto the barrel before the muzzle device and then is backed out to tighten against the back side of the muzzle device.
