Sapphire

We had to have our beloved, adorable tuxedo cat Sapphire put down last night, she had kidney disease. Sapphire was a siamese mix, very talkative and full of love. She was my daughter Emilys cat, Emily got her at 6 months, when she was 13, they had 10 happy years. My heartbroken daughter, held her, at the vet office, while she passed, our kitty, knew she was going, went over to my daughter, and purred to her, giving me a glance as if to say, good-bye. The vet gave her a shot, and she purred at my daughter, while she passed. My daughter cried her heart out, but knew she was suffering, and the kindest thing to do. We shall miss her so much.
