This picture is of Tawny, the dog and Xat Singh, the cat, both females. When Tawny was 6 years old, in 2005, Xat Singh, an 8 weeks old siamese kitten came to live with us. Tawny immediately took on the care of Xat and they became great friends and playmates. For 4 years they romped and played together until Tawny got so arthritic that she had to be put down. Xat Sing still goes to the place where Tawny’s bed was and cries for her lost friend.
