Marty the Dachshund Dog
Published on April 12th, 2011
By Dachiemum (Australia)
My darling Marty had a massive seizure that went on for at least an hour by the time we got him to the vet. who said there would be massive damage to the brain so the kindest thing to do would be put him to sleep forever, he had been ill for about 2 months after a mini stroke, we knew he would not live forever but I did not want him to go in this way. I held him all the time he was fitting and looked into those lovely brown eyes, knowing there was not a damn thing I could do to help him.He went to sleep forever at 8.30am on Sunday, April 10th, 2011, he had his 15 birthday on March 28th. He is buried next to Corey and Lisa.
