    My first Canister Filter

    This was my first time using & setting up the filter.Theres 2 minor issues I had & was the spray bar is to long so I had to use the other piece that came with it for the our flow & it would have helped me out if I had a picture of how to connect the intake & outake filter to the tank especially if you have the black or brown panel. Other than that it's only been about a wk so far everything's seems to be good. I would definitely recommend this canister filter to anyone especially new beginners. I thought it was gonna be complicated but the truth is it was a lot easier than I thought. I just had to keep looking st the instructions & figured it out..

    Works, but won't last... see review for details

    works as expected... but concerned it wont last too long. materials are mainly cheap plastic and rubber, including the o-ring. the plastic feels light and not very solid. the o-ring looks and feels a little too hard for an o-ring. not sure how to get supplies or replacment parts.. so you might want to get 2 for spares lol overall flow and near silent makes it a good product ... until a leak happens then you come out to a flooded floor and near empty aquarium. its not if, its WHEN a leak will happen based on the materials and seals for this item. spend $30-$40 more dollars and get a brand name one so you can at least rest a little easier each night.

    Perfect for a larger tank

    External Aquarium Filters are not rocket science. There is no reason the same size filter should cost 4x as much at the local pet store. This does the job, keep my water clean, smells clean, and is quiet
