Reef Octo Skimmer elite 150-INT:
$177.50

This is my favorite skimmer by far and my second Reef Octo.It has many cool convenient features.

It uses the Reef Octo 2S DC motor with controller. It has an overflow valve in the skimmer cup that will shut off the skimmer whenthe cup is full.No overflow of waste back into the sump.I am surprised at how many expensive DC skimmers out there donot have this feature. I have enclosed the fittings to attach an external drainto the Cup if you so desire. I have never used it.

It completely disassembles for cleaning as you can see inthe pictures above.

Easily handled my 75 gallon (+ 20 gallon sump) reefaquarium with fish.

Sadly, I am getting out of the reef aquarium hobby after 20years. The aquarium does not fit the house remodel plans.

I packed this really well in a 14x14x14 box, weighs 11#

Happy Skimming!

Awesome question on how it was cleaned and I want to add this here. Hand cleaned all of the acrylic parts with water and sponge, no vinegar nor bleach. I soaked the pump impeller in vinegar and it is clean and freely movable.
To someone new to this hobby, a reef setup requires replacing the calcium and alkalinity. This causes precipitation on all of the impellers and they stick. Quality DC motors are smart and they will shut down before anything gets damaged. When they shut down, it is a matter of removing and cleaning the pump. This includes removing the impeller and soaking in vinegar to dissolve the calcium, etc. Most of us have spare pumps and waveheads. I would change out to a clean one then take my time cleaning the dirty one.
