Emu Oil can be applied topically to speed the healing of hot spots and enhance healing of wounds or surgical incisions or administered internally by adding to their food. Taken internally the Omega's 3, 6 and 9 and other bio-nutrients in Emu Oil reduces joint inflammation, relieving pain and soothes itchy, dry skin due to allergies and environment.

Internal use: Shake well before using. Put on food once a day. For pets less than 20 pounds - 1/4 tsp; 20-50 pounds - 1/2 tsp; over 50 pounds - 1 tsp. per 50 pounds of weight. For pets with severe allergies, hot spots or joint problems double the dosage above for 5 days and then adjust dosage as needed.

Topical use: Apply a few drops directly onto the skin. Part the hair to expose the skin if necessary. Continue application until a thin layer of emu oil covers the entire treatment area. Let oil absorb into the skin. Since it is as beneficial on the inside as on the outside, there is no need to prevent your pet from licking the area.
