Each model (KL-1A, KL-1B, KL-1C, & KL-1D) has a slightly different stairway/steps arrangement. All models show slight manufacturing cosmetic defects, and slight cosmetic wear and tear from product handling, testing and demonstrations.

KITTY LITTERY (tm) elevates your favorite kitty litter pan up from the floor so you don\'t have to bend or stoop down to clean your kitty\'s soiled litter pan. Stairs/steps take your kitty up to 42\"-44\" off the floor. Who ever met a cat that didn\'t love to run up and down the stairs? When it\'s time to clean the litter pan (at least every day, right?), just open the doors and scoop the soiled litter from the large Rubbermaid Roughneck (tm) bin on the top fixed shelf into the standard 13 gallon kitchen garbage bag in the smaller Rubbermaid bin below on the pullout shelf. Pull the 13 gallon bag drawstring shut, then carry the bag of soiled litter out to your weekly garbage bin/buggy in either your garage or outside near your driveway for final disposal! If you use an electric and automated litter box, no problem. Just remove the top shelf and place the automated litter box on the middle shelf (27.5\"x 22.75\" Add supports under the middle shelf) Transfer & dispose of the soiled litter the same way. Either automated or manual scooping, whatever method you use, with KITTY LITTERY (tm), you never have to bend down or stoop to clean the litter box again! KITTY LITTERY (tm) is not meant to be a better litter pan...it\'s a rock solid, furniture grade cabinet that elevates whatever litter pan you prefer to use up off the floor, so you don\'t have to bend down to the floor to scoop soiled litter ever again!
Each model is custom hand-built from beautiful Birch blond plywood, UV rated on both sides. There are two stairs/steps modules, one for each side of the main center module, and are specifically mated for each of the cabinet models. The main center module holds the shelves. Phillips Screws and 3/8\" flange bolts are used to attach the 3 modules together, for your easy assembly in your basement or laundry room, or wherever you keep your current litter pan. Storage below the bottom shelf is approximately 25\" tall x 28\" wide x 22 deep. Store your litter scooper, boxes or pails of litter, rubber gloves for sanitation, litter deodorizer, hand held & cordless vacuum to clean scattered litter (kitties get messy when scratching or digging their litter!), or any other litter cleaning accessories you use. We don\'t recommend storing cat food or cat food eating dishes in the storage area, but we\'re not the Kitty Police.

Testing response indicated that both edging styles were liked, so there will be similar choices available on the final product.
Homes with young kittens or younger cats are probably the best candidates for purchase of one of these four available KITTY LITTERY (tm) prototype cabinets. Young kittens generally seem to be insatiably curious and scampery and unable to resist zipping up a small stairway to see what is up there inside the cabinet. That\'s exactly what happened when we tested with our cats & others. When our kittens scampered up the stairs and entered the litter area, they sniffed the new litter in the large bin and seemed to instinctively know that was their new litter area. We naturally removed the old litter pan from the floor so they would have no other litter pan options but inside the cabinet. For us, it was easy-peasy. We hope it is for you, as well. Our two newest kittens chase each other around the house and often include chasing each other up one KITTY LITTERY (tm) stairs and down the other, and often \"hang out\" and take a cat nap on top of the KITTY LITTERY (tm).
