Our aim was to avoid using the string approach with their occasional tangles which many chicken door openers use, a failure even once in five years ona wrongnight a fox can devastate a flock in minutes, costing owners hundreds of dollars and tears.

Each of our doors is fitted with a powerful Linear Actuator, which due to their strength required us to design a safety switch forthe safetyof Animals, ChildrenandAdults. The safety switch bar mounted at the base of the sliding door causes the door to stop closing when an object is in the way once removed the door will continue to close. Ideal for Backyards, Schools and larger farm sized flocks.

There is both a single door controller andmulti doorcontroller which can be mounted anywhere that a cable can be run to connect to the poultry doors. Option for both Battery Backup in the event of power failure and also Solar Panel foroff gridcoop use. (Please note battery power and solar requirements can differ to various locations and seasonal sun time so take this into consideration when ordering these options)

• Safety First as our door uses aPowerful Linear Actuator Motor that extends and retracts 300mm (12 Inches) we have built into our design anAuto-Cutoff bar on Door as it descends on closing. Chooks, pets, children and even adults safe can be unpredictable at times so we designed and built a safety cut-off switch to protect unexpected obstacles to prevent accidental injury from the door closure.
