I am in the process of looking for a dog.I hike and camp, but also work shift work, 12 hour days, days and nights. Looking for a dog primarly outside, but allowed inside. One that is a companion and a watch dog. I orginally was looking at schnauzers and Norwegian elkhounds. Was wondering what mixed breeds are good or where you can find info on them?
