Hi i have recently bought a welsh cob 4 yo, he had been turned out since last july.
He looked fit and healthy at the start, i moved him to stable and broke him in to ride in just under a month which ment a lot of work. i was feeding him haylege and one feed of short feed up untill nearly 2 weeks ago.
I then moved yards by which point he’d lost alot of weight so i am now got him on 2 short feeds of 1 scoop of sugar beat, charff and bayley no 1 plus horse oil and 1 scoop of garlic powder. i have wormed him twice since i’ve had him and nothing has showed.
After all this he is still really tucked up and i’m now worring. the people i am stabled with are as baffled as i am and i cant find anything more than i am already doing. Is there anything i am missing. He drinks plenty, he’s still very lively, eats well and he’s teeth is fine.
