Sam
31st January 1993
to 3rd December 2003, Aged 10
From John and Jane Ball
My husband John got Sam when he
was 6 months old and he had been mistreated. After many months
of ripped carpets, chewed furniture and dug out plant pots Sam became
the most intelligent, wonderful, loyal and loving dog you could ever
have.
I met Sam 7 years ago when I met
John and from day one he was fantastic. Every day with Sam was a
new adventure, he just loved life to the full.
Sadly on returning from
honeymoon last year Sam was limping badly on one of his back legs.
We took him to the vet and our worst fears were confirmed, he had
cancer of the bone and there was nothing the vet could do. The
following 6 six weeks were the hardest of our lives, we had to watch
as our little man was slowly taken from us. He died very
peacefully in Johns arms on 3rd Dec 2003.
We spent many, many happy times
with Sammy dog and have some wonderful memories. He loved going
for walks and swimming at Colinton Dell in Edinburgh with his best
friend Victoria (Vic) our friends Rottweiler who sadly died only 2
months before Sam.
We love you and miss you so much
Sammy Dingo our wonderful loyal friend. We know you're at peace
now with Vic and will be running around the Dell everyday.
We miss you squeaking your
squeakie toy for hours, the feel of your puppy like fur, your excited
bark when you knew we were going for walkies, your face looking back
at us through the rear view mirror of the car - you were one in a
million Sam.
You will always hold a very
special place in our hearts and we will never forget you.
