To Dear Honey

Do not worry Honey as a new land awaits you,
Where God is waiting to love you as much as I do.
Though I will never understand why you were taken away from me,
I know in my heart that you are in a place as safe as can be.
No one can hurt you anymore like they can here,
And even though you have gone I can still feel you near.
I will never forget that look in your eyes,
When we finally had to say our last goodbyes.
A cat so special words cannot begin to describe,
Though you are not here in body, in our hearts you will thrive.
What I would do to hold you once more,
To hear you meow like I took for granted so many times before.
My love for you Honey will go on forever,
And I know that one day in the future we will be together.
Nothing can take away the pain that I feel,
The heartache and sadness is all to real.
For what happened to you was never deserved,
A place in heaven must have been reserved.
Even though I cannot believe it is really true,
I know God wanted a new angel and looked down and saw you.

Honey, in our hearts you live on and our love for you will last forever. Miss you so much.
