Butch the Rottweiler Dog

Dear Butch,
Four years ago my daddy come down on orders to go to Germany. At the time my parents did not have the extra money to pay for you to go with us, so they did what a lot of military families do. They placed an ad at the local vet where you went to. "Wanted good home for a loving pet". We waited and waited and then the day came A man called my mom and was wanting to come over to meet you. The man of course promised to give you a good home out on some land where you could run and play with his boys. My mom thought you passed the test. My brother and sister and I were still to young too understand what was going on. But mom promised us that everything was going to be ok. So she thought. Well we moved over to Germany, The army put us in housing, and we waited for our household stuff to arrive. When it did Mom and Dad found your number and they called the man on the other end who was shocked that they had called. Mom was talking to him and then she hit the floor screaming for dad to come back in to the room. The man had to repeat what he had just told my mom to my dad. I will never forget the words that came out of their mouths. The man that we gave Butch to killed him. My mom was so upset. He told them that he put a 45 to your head. I can only dream in horror of what you must of been thinking.

BUTCH WE ARE SO SORRY THAT YOU HAD TO GO THROUGH THAT. Just remember we will all play again one day. LOVE HAILEY, CODY, ASHLEE, MOM AND DAD AND THE ONE YOU NEVER GOT TO PLAY WITH HUNTER
