My baby boo. I adopted her from the couple I used to nanny for. I met boo when she was only a week old and as I was a live in nanny - she was close to her mum for her first 2 yrs of life.
Unfortunately before i moved, she had gotten into a cat fight and the other cats owner had kicked her hard...and dislocated her front paw and back hip. After talking to the emergency vet, we decided that she would be ok healing on her own as shed started to eat and drink. She lived another 2 yrs before we ever thought back to that day.
We had gotten her a playmate as I worked full time, and although she first didnt like Niobe, they soon became inseperatable. Sadly, we didnt realize that night shed been kicked, they'd also fractured her ribs, which had since healed. Unfortunatley the extra baceteria caused by having an additional cat in the home, caused a severe lung infection and the vet after pulling out over 22ccs of fluid and that wasnt even close to all of it, recommended that it would be more humane to put her down.
She was my first baby and it broke my heart, and still does. I miss her every day. Her twisted humor and patience and presence will always be missed. She will always be loved.
