Fluffy the Mixed Breed (White) Cat

My beautiful baby Fluffy passed away yesterday (9.05.09) peacefully at home with all her family around her. I held her paw as she went.
   
She gave us 19 wonderful years and she was my best friend and a big part of the Baker family. Words can't describe the loss we feel and we miss her so much it hurts.
   
We have so many treasured memories of her - she loved cardboard boxes and if you left one around; she'd be in it and asleep within a flash! She was a gourmet cat - tuna being her favourite but loved sharing prawns or sardines in tomato sauce with my dad. My mum would cook sunday lunch and her nose would be twitching wondering what delicacy she would be getting that day. She loved sleeping and had many favourite places - especially in the garden on a nice sunny day amongst dad's plants. She would sip water out of the watering can by dipping her paw in and licking the water off. She talked to us through her meows and we understood what she was saying. A little "meow" as she came in would be "hello", a "squark" would be "come on, im hungry now" or "i want some strokes and tickles" She adored being stroked and would often wake up and stroll over to one of us for as many strokes and tickles we could give her and then she would toddle off back to sleep happy.
   
Fluffy, thank you so much for all the joy you brought to us. We miss you so much baby and the place is just not the same without you. You will never be forgotten and I know we will all be reunited with you one day. Until then, take care on Rainbow Bridge and say hello to Sam for us.
   
God Bless you Fluffy, I love you with all my heart and thank you for being by my side for 19 cherished years.
