Damian the Mixed Breed Dog

I'd gotten Damian from the pound when he was 3months old. He was a pitbull/german shepherd mix, and he was my baby. The time had come to move, but our budget made us move to a tiny 1bedroom apartment, that didn't accept dogs over 50lbs. We had no choice, but to give him to the Humane Society, hoping someone would take him home and love him as much as I did. Couple days later, I called the shelter to ask how he was doing...I'd made a mistake and wanted him back so bad. I was informed that he didn't pass the behavioral test, and they'd put him down the day I dropped him off. I've never cried so much in my life. I miss you, Damian...I'm so very sorry I did this to you. I still have your collar in my hope chest, and I hope you can and will forgive me. I love you, and I'm so very sorry my love.
